Some stories don't ask for sympathy...they simply ask to be seen, this felt incredibly human. Thankyou for sharing something so vulnerable. <33

Thank you, Siyaa. “They simply ask to be seen” stayed with me. That feels very close to what I hoped to protect in this piece—that no one in that waiting room was only a diagnosis, or only the most fragile moment someone happened to witness.
